What is the APT AI trend?
It puts two people into a hot-pink studio like the one in the “APT.” music video by ROSÉ and Bruno Mars: a drum kit, black amplifiers and nothing else but pink walls and floor. One performer sings, the other drums, then they dance side by side, play a hand game on the floor and clown around in star-shaped sunglasses.
Nobody films anything. People upload two photos, of themselves and a friend, a partner, or two pets, and the AI recreates the clip with them in both parts. The finished video goes on TikTok, Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts like any other trend video.
What happens in the video
- 0 to 10 s, at the drum kit (full video only): one performer kneels and sings into a mic while the other plays the drums, then they clown around together at the kit.
- 10 to 19 s, the dance: close-ups of a singing mouth, then both dance side by side between the amplifiers.
- 19 to 26 s, the floor and the finale: a hand game over a red cup, pink star sunglasses, and the two of them face to face at the end.
The 14-second highlight is the dance, the floor and the finale; the 26-second full video adds the drum-kit opening.
How to make an APT AI video, step by step
Step 1: Pick two photos
One person or one pet per photo, in two separate photos, not one shot of both. Decide who plays which part: photo 1 replaces the man with glasses and curly hair in the grey jacket, photo 2 the man in the dark grey sweater and jeans. The two swap sides between shots, so think of them as parts, not as left and right.
Step 2: Upload them in the generator
